TERMS & CONDITIONS
Updated August 2024
On registering with M-Pulsive Dance School and Tots&Tinies there are a few terms and conditions that we ask members to adhere to in order for our school to run efficiently
- Membership is by Pro Rated MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION after annual membership fee. Our billing is structured to make it easier for you by spreading the total cost of a year’s worth of classes over 12 equal monthly payments. This way, rather than paying a different amount each month depending on the number of classes in that period, you can enjoy a predictable, even payment schedule throughout the year. monthly payment is a portion of the full year’s cost, not a payment for that specific month alone. This means that even when notice to cancel is given, the final payment contributes to the total balance due for the entire year of classes, not just for one month’s worth. This allows us to ensure classes are consistently available for you over the full year.
- You will receive an invoice by email on around the 20th of each month and payments are due by 1st.
- Fees will be collected by GoCardless Direct Debit. You should set up a mandate via the link sent to you before your first month.
- Monthly subs are prorated, equal payments Aug-June and are payable in advance of class.
- Late payments will incur a 10% late fee. If your account is in arrears after one month your child may be asked to give up their place.
- When registering for a new year the upfront non-refundable deposit should be paid online, via ClassForKids to secure your place.
- Cancellation is by one months notice. These must be sent in writing to admin@mpulsivedance.com. Any fees due for that time should be settled. We appreciate that circumstances change but our policy is in place to allow us to make arrangements to fill the space, make changes where required and protect our commitments to staff, suppliers and contracts. We simply ask for advance notice of your withdrawal to help us grace change.
- Children not registered via ClassForKids will not be allowed to participate in class.
- The dates that each term run on are visible in your ClassForKids portal. Please refer to this when querying holidays.
- Your enrolment is for one academic year so will automatically continue to run each term until the end of the academic year- June. If you wish to cancel your place even at the end of a term, the cancellation notice is required as above. At the end of June each year you are required to complete re-registration for the following academic year.
- Your monthly plan covers 36 classes in the year running in school term time. It does not include extra classes during holidays, workshops, private lessons, extra rehearsals, etc. These should be booked via ClassForKids and paid for in full.
- Refunds will not be given for missed or unused classes.
- We endeavour to provide a safe and secure space for your children to dance. Please help us to enhance this by providing your child with water to bring to class and ensuring they have been to the toilet before class.
- Uniform, as outlined in the class descriptions is essential. Each dance genre requires specific kit and footwear. Sandals, boots and skirts are not appropriate for any class or any age.
- Children should be dropped off no more than 5 minutes before class and collected promptly at the end. Each venue will have in place a one way system or a system to avoid congestion.
- M-Pulsive Dance School does not discriminate on background, race, gender or religion.
- Classes are most usually divided based on age but under some circumstance it is necessary to only allow dancers who comply with pre-requisites. This is to ensure safe and effective progression. Michelle also holds the right to move children into the class which she feels is most appropriate.
- Photography within the studio space is prohibited by parents or pupils unless granted permission by the class teacher.
- M-Pulsive Dance School is all inclusive and will not tolerate bullying. We reserve the right to ask any children to leave the school based on a breach of this.
- By the nature of dance it is often necessary for teachers to use physical contact when helping to improve students’ posture or assist in movements. This includes contact between students and holding hands.
By enrolling my son/daughter into M-Pulsive Dance I confirm that I accept the above terms and conditions
